I went to Solstice last weekend as part of a larger party celebrating multiple birthdays. From start to finish, we had a great experience. The service was impeccable, and our party was asked about any dietary restrictions at the beginning of our meal. Solstice has a very imaginative menu that changes with the seasons. I appreciated that there were imaginative cocktails and mocktails that featured special house-made syrups. My mocktail was excellent! We also received a whipped feta and pickled watermelon amuse bouche. Our group ordered many different dishes and they were all wonderful. An assortment of the dishes: -gnocchi -short rib -parker house rolls with plum jam -deviled eggs -wedge salad -chai/cinnamon donuts Presentation of the dishes was wonderful. Our birthday celebrants each received a card signed by the staff, and we were offered a very thoughtful champagne toast as well. Two minor critiques: -I would like to see more vegetarian-friendly dishes -Multiple people in our party, despite getting our parking tickets validated, had issues getting out of the parking lot I am looking forward to visiting again.

Love this place! Went for a business lunch a few weeks ago and it was excellent. Then Social Hour this evening. Huge cheese and charcuterie board - really good. As were the wagyu burger sliders. Very good cab on the happy hour wine list. Bright and spacious inside. Solid service. Nice job, Solstice!

Solstice is tucked in a plaza with a bunch of corporate offices and event spaces. We made reservations for a Friday night and were seated immediately when we arrived. They have indoor and outdoor tables with heated lamps, and they also do parking validation. MUSSELS ROCKEFELLER ($18) - the broth was so good that we asked for a spoon to finish it. I also liked the additions of the lardon and the pickled shallots. 5/5 BRAISED WAGYU PAPPARDELLE ($36) - they make their pasta fresh daily and you can really tell. The noodles were great and the meat sauce was good. 4/5 MALBEC BRAISED WAGYU SHORT RIB ($40) - I thought the short rib was a little dry and could've used more seasoning. The portion size could've been bigger as well. 3/5 For drinks I got the whiskey cocktail 5 ($20) which was really good and smooth. It came out smokey and was really nice to drink. My second drink was the spring barrel aged cocktail ($23) which was okay and a little bitter. Our service was phenomenal from the moment we walked in. From the front of house staff seeing our special occasion note on the reservation and even giving a handwritten note for us, to our server giving us recommendations and making us feel welcomed, everything from start to finish was great.

Came here to catch up with my friend. Our waiter explained their menus change every three months as their stuff is seasonal and use fresh ingredients. I decided to try the Braised wagyu pappardelle. Pasta was cooked al dente just like how it should be. Flavors was delicious that I would get it again. My friend got the roasted half chicken. I tried a piece and the chicken was delicious and juicy!! The restaurant was cute and simple. I saw a big group that was in this open yet private section of the restaurant which I pictured having a nice dinner with a group of my friends there one night lol! Definitely a place to check out.

The lobster and shrimp roll is very good, it should be for like $28.00, the appetizers and butter cake for dessert very good as well. Open, big restaurant, farm to tale concept. Why not 5 stars? Because they had items on the menu that were not available. We went here for lunch, they just opened, how can they run out of food? I wanted the tuna salad and they didn't have tuna. Take it off the menu then. It is close to work so I will go back

Visited Solstice again and was not disappointed! We had the mussels Rockefeller to start. As someone who typically doesn't like mussels, this dish was a stand-out. Highly recommend it. Also, our waiter Sebastian was phenomenal!

I was looking for a nicer place to celebrate a birthday dinner around South OC and found this place last second on my IG. It was extremely easy to make reservations. When we arrived, we were seated almost immediately. It is a seasonal menu, but here is what we ordered: Parker House Rolls: This came out piping hot! The roll was very soft and pulled apart easily. It was topped with a bit of salt and severed with a fruity jam. It was definitely sweeter than expected, but nevertheless, very tasty. 8oz Filet: This has got to be one of my all time favorite filets. It was perfectly cooked medium rare as requested and it came perfectly seasoned. It was very flavorful and beautifully presented with mashed potato dollops. I was very pleased that it was flavorful enough that it did not need any gravy or anything to top it off. Malbec-Braised Wagyu Short Rib: This came out under a glass that the waitress swirled upward to give that smokey aorma. The braised short rib was so soft, we did nt even need a knife t break it apart. The mashed potato bed was deliciously coated with sauce. Lavender Lemon Drop: Super delicious and aesthetically pleasing. This came with a sprig of lavender and a sugar rim. It was perfectly sweet, just the way I like! I for sure could have ordered another one of these! Whiskey Cocktail 2: This was very tasty and had edible gold glitter in it. It tasted like a sweeter version of an Old Fashioned. I really enjoyed my experience here at Solstice. The ambiance was quite and fancy. The servers were attentive and checked up on us several times throughout the meal. Everything from the drinks all the way to the dessert was amazing. The staff did make the birthday dinner very special by giving us a handwritten birthday card along with a complimentary dessert. I will definitely be planning on returning. Thank you for such an awesome experience!

Modern upscale new American cuisine. Good cocktails, food was pretty good, modern vibe, with good service. Definitely on the pricey side when all is said and done, but overall a good experience. They do validate parking in the adjacent parking garage. If you're looking for a nice spot for a date night or a business dinner, this is a good choice.

My boyfriend and I came for valentines day. It was honestly one of the only places left with reservations in Irvine on valentines. Our waiter was very friendly, engaged in conversation with us, and recommended an off the menu tequila cocktail for my boyfriend. The atmosphere was lively, and the place was beautifully modern. We started off with cocktails that were pretty good but quite expensive. We ordered two rounds of cocktails and 3/4 drinks were over $20. If a drink is over $20 then it's gotta be a whole display, strong as hell, or at a fancy speakeasy, but it was just a typical cocktail. For apps, we ordered the deviled egg jar and tuna tartare. The deviled egg was pretty good, creamy with notes of relish and the crunch of toast. The tuna tartare was delicious, especially mixed in with the sauce, and waffle chips were crispy. For entrees, we ordered the short rib and halibut. Short rib was the star of the night, so good and soooo tender. The halibut was alright; I didn't like that it was cubed into smaller pieces rather than a whole filet. There was also shrimp and mussels in the stew. Overall, Solstice was good experience. Food was quite delicious, and we had a fun time. I would go again to try the other menu items and their seasonal ones as well.
